I've tried them all: every cartomizer and atomizer made. Every manufacturer, and even the "cisco" versions and 20 or so other websites trying to get attys and cartos made to a special design.

Nothing compares to these dual coils from smoktech. End of story.

Size: About the size of everyones "Mega" cartomizers. Like the Iken megas and also the other smoktech megas. Hold around 2 mil of juice if you take your time filling. I condom fill them from the top and then the bottom to get rockin fast.

1.5 ohm: They WILL NOT BURN. How you can slam 6 volts into a 1.5 ohm and it not insta nuke or at least burn the juice, I have no idea. I melted a delrin drip tip trying to see if I could burn juice. It gets hot, sure, but the juice just turns to magma with no "burnt plastic" taste coming from the polyfill. Darwin says I'm hammering 4.5 volts into this thing and pulling almost 3 amps !!! No burn taste. 

Vapor Production: UNREAL. You dont need pure VG and long drags anymore for that fancy vape cloud for you video anymore. I can fog a room with an ego bat now, lol. My GGTS is actually used now because I don't even need my VVs. Sure it rocks on the Darwin and Provari, but I'm not forced into using them. I actually cut back my normal 60/40 pg/vg to 80/20 because I was developing a smoker's cough again from so much vapor.

Useability: Gravy, easy as it gets. You can drip fill them, condom fill them, syringe fill them: whatever you want. I just drip them after an initial condom fill. 10 drops tops me off. I have to work for a living, and don't have time to constantly refill. I don't want to carry syringes like a ...... addict, I like to just top them off. They hold the juice well, and don't flood. Darwin is absolute fail in respect to no catch cup, so we can't use leaky attys or cartos or flood prone ones. Don't have to worry about leaking with these, and they do quite well.

Lifespan: Same as most the other quality cartos out there. I vape over 6ml a day, and I'm getting about 4 days out of one. I could go farther I'm sure, but vapor slowly drops off and the draw gets tighter. Cleaning might be an option, but at these prices, I just chunk them. After a month of using these, I've retired about 8 of them. Wifey has gone through 3 but she vapes a whole lot less then I do. Brother has gone through 5. NONE of them were DOA, and none shorted. No matter how much voltage we hit them with. Supplier will love these because they wont have to warranty any more cartos cause someone redlined them with some stack bat mod.

Availability: TONS of people are stocking these now. Why? Because they are godly. I ordered 5 to test from madvapes, they rocked. Then I got in a freebie 5 from Nhaler with my darwin order because they sold something they did not have at the time. Then I placed my order from China for 200 of them because I wanted Chrome. Ordered 40 more from hoosier to tide me over till china got here. All of them perform fantastic, no matter where I got them from.

Dual Coil cartomizer is the latest craze to the vaping world. There are a number of factors as to why they work so well and we will break them down. The first thing about them is that as the name implies, there are two coils or heating elements in them which is why they produce so much vapor. Below is a dual coil cartomizer and each of its components. It really is a simple circuit. Coil 1 connects directly to the positive terminal of the connector in the middle. There is a wire (the long one) that connects the positive terminal of the connector to Coil 2 so both coils are getting identical voltages from the circuit as opposed to splitting the voltage as would be the case with a circuit in series. The two coils then meet in the middle and are connected to the negative terminal of the connector via the smaller wire completing the circuit.

As a rule the lower the resistance the more power there is going to the coil making it hotter and producing more vapor. While the overall resistance of a dual coil cartomizer is about 1.6 ohms, it is a circuit with the coils in parallel so each coil individually has 3.2 ohms of resistance. Lets see how this relates using Ohm’s Law. Below is a diagram of a basic Parallel circuit. R 1 and R 2 would represent the coils in the cartomizer.

Ohm’s Law –

I = V/R Amperage = Voltage / Resistance

Full voltage is applied to both resistances within the circuit. Resistance is determined by:

R = V/I

In a parallel circuit the formula is:

R 0 represents total resistance. R 1 and R 2 are the 2 different coils in the cartomizer. So the resistance for a dual cartomizer would be

R 0 = 3.2 x 3.2 / 3.2 + 3.2

= 10.24 / 6.4

= 1.6 ohms

So the circuit of a dual coil cartomizer with two 3.2 ohm resistance coils has a total resistance of 1.6 ohms. What does this mean. It means you get a low resistance cartomizer that still works with higher voltages because the individual coils are working at 3.2 ohms.

Now lets compare the amperage of a cartomizer versus a dual coil cartomizer. (I = V / R)

Single Coil

I = V / R

= 3.7 / 3.2

= 1.16 amps

Amperage of a Dual Coil Cartomizer can be done 2 ways.

I 0 = I 1 + I 2

This would be the equivalent of calculating the amperage of each coil separately and then adding them together. So in the above formula 2 coils with like resistance would be:

I 0 = I 1 + I 2

=1.16 + 1.16

= 2.32 amps

The other way is with the formula:

I 0 = V / R 0

I 0 is the total amperage of the circuit and R 0 is the total resistance of the circuit.

I 0 = V / R 0

= 3.7 / 1.6

= 2.31 amps (Rounding accounts for the small difference)

The other comparison we can have is with power which is measured in watts.

W = V * I

W = V * (V / R) is another way of stating it.

So a single coil would be:

W = V * (V / R)

= 3.7 * (3.7 / 3.2)

= 3.7 * (1.16)

= 4.28 watts

A dual coil could be calculated by adding the wattage of each coil together like was done with amperage. Or you could just use the resistance of the total circuit like below.

W = V * (V / R 0 )

= 3.7 * (3.7 / 1.6)

= 3.7 * (2.3)

= 8.56 watts (as you can see it is exactly double the single coil figure)

So a dual coil cartomizer gives you twice the watts (power) and twice the vapor. If you use a cartomizer with too low of a resistance quite often it will damage the cartomizer because there is too much power for it to be able to handle it. But because each coil is actually running at 3.2 ohms of resistance a 3.7 or 5 volt source works just fine. If you go to higher voltages such as 7.4 volts the biggest problem is the protected circuit of the batteries. They often detect a short with such low resistances and the protected circuit is tripped. But if you had a battery with a protected circuit that could handle that low of a resistance, the cartomizers appear to work just fine without hurting the cartomizer or burning the e-liquid.

Rokok Elektronik Lebih Mesra Bayi?

Banyak pro dan kontra dipaparkan di blog dan portal mengenai rokok elektronik (RE). Antara cerita paling menarik yang hendak dikongsikan oleh Inaiputih ialah mengenai relatifnya RE dengan bayi? Apa logiknya?
Ada seorang kawan menceritakan pada Inaiputih mengenai seorang ibu yang gagal menyusukan anaknya dengan susu badan. Pelbagai teknik dan petua telah dipraktikkan namun menemui jalan buntu, bayi itu asyik menangis dan terpaksa diberi susu botol.
Sehinggalah ibu berkenaan didatangi oleh ibunya. Ibunya memeriksa anggota badan anaknya dan telah mengesani bau rokok gudang garam. “Patutlah anak kau menangis, tak mahu susu badan, lain kali suruhlah bapaknya basuh mulut dulu.”
Ha ha ha tergelak Inaiputih dengar cerita ini. Namun mesejnya cukup jelas dan dalam. Sepatutnya ibu tadi beritahu anaknya, “Lain kali suruh suami kau hisap RE. Tak adalah bau busuk.” Bukannya bayi boleh hisap rokok elektronik tetapi kebersihan diri dan menjauhi bau busuk oleh suami adalah penting untuk menjalin hubungan intim.
Tuan puan pembaca, fikirkanlah sejenak. Banyak bezanya antara rokok tembakau dan juga rokok elektronik.

Nikotin Rokok


Nikotin (atau nikotina) ialah sejenis sebatian organik yang dijumpai secara semulajadi di dalam pokok tembakau (daun tembakau mempunyai kandungan nikotin paling tinggi). Sebanyak 5% daripada berat tembakau ialah nikotin.

Nikotin merupakan racun saraf manjur ( potent nerve poison ) dan digunakan di dalam racun serangga. Pada kepekatan rendah, bahan ini bertindak sebagai peransang dan adalah salah satu sebab utama mengapa merokok digemari dan dijadikan tabiat. Selain tembakau. nikotin juga ditemui di dalam tumbuhan famili Solanaceae termasuk tomato, terung ungu ( eggplant ), ubi kentang, dan lada hijau.


Sifat Kimia




Fomula kimia untuk nikotin ialah C10H14N2

Di dalam sistem IUPAC, namanya ialah 3-(2-(N-methylpyrrolidinyl)) pyridine.

Nikotin ialah bahan larut air dan boleh diekstrak dengan membiarkan hirisan tembakau direndam dalam air selama 12 jam.


Kesan Ke Atas Badan

Nikotin boleh merangsang dan meningkatkan aktiviti metabolisma badan, kewaspadaan/kecergasan dan ingatan. Sesetengah pengguna nikotin melaporkan bahawa nikotin mempunyai kesan melegakan. Nikotin juga boleh meningkatkan denyutan jantung dan tekanan darah serta mengurangkan selera makan. Pada dos yang lebih besar, nikotin boleh menyebabkan kemuntahan dan nausea.

Pengguna nikotin juga selalunya terlalu bergantung kepada bahan kimia ini. Pada 16 Mei 1998, Ketua Pakar Bedah Amerika Syarikat, C. Everett Koop mengatakan ketagihan nikotin adalah hampir sama dengan ketagihan heroin dan kokaina, tetapi ramai yang tidak bersetuju dengan pendapat beliau. Simptom tarikan yang berlaku termasuk sakit kepala, keresahan dan keteriritasian ( irritability ). Simptom ini mencapai tahap akut dalam 48 hingga 72 jam dan akan berakhir dalam beberapa bulan atau tahun.

Walaupun kandungan nikotin dalam rokok amat sedikit, pengguna masih boleh membentuk dependens fizikal terhadap nikotin. Kandungan nikotin yang diserap badan bergantung kepada beberapa faktor, contohnya jenis jenis tembakau, sedutan asap rokok, dan penggunaan penapis/turas.

Kebiasaan merokok memang mengasyikkan. Tanpa sadar berbagai macam racun berbahaya dalam kandungan rokok masuk ke dalam tubuh, memicu menjangkitnya kanker dan beberapa penyakit kronis lainnya.
Di dunia setiap tahunnya ditemukan 2,2 juta kematian akibat Penyakit Paru Obstruksi Kronik (PPOK). Dan penyakit itu mereka dapat dari kebiasaan merokok yang sudah mereka lakukan selama bertahun-tahun. Angka kematian akibat rokok ini setiap tahun akan terus meningkat seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah perokok.

Mengapa konsumsi rokok yang terus menerus bisa memicu timbulnya penyakit? Zat-zat kimia apa saja yang sebernarnya terdapat di dalam sebatang rokok sehingga menimbulkan efek yang mengerikan?
Jika Anda berpikir bahwa nikotin adalah satu-satunya kandungan rokokyang berbahaya di dalam rokok itu sangatlah salah. Nikotin Ini adalah komponen adiktif tembakau. Hal ini diserap ke dalam darah dan mempengaruhi otak dalam waktu 10 detik. Hal ini menyebabkan perokok untuk merasa relax karena neurotransmitter. Ini juga menyebabkan gelombang denyut jantung, tekanan darah, dan adrenalin (yang juga merasa baik). Akibatnya, sifat ketergantungan nikotin pada otak dan tubuh untuk sementara hilang. Perokok merasa lebih buruk jika mereka tidak merokok. Ini yang memperkuat keinginan untuk merokok lagi.

Secara keseluruhan rokok adalah campuran senyawa kompleks yang dihasilkan oleh pembakaran tembakau dan adiktif. Terlepas dari stimulan nikotin biasa, asap rokok juga mengandung tar yang terdiri dari lebih dari 4000 bahan kimia termasuk sekitar 60 bahan kimia karsinogenik yang berbahaya. Hampir semua jenis zat tersebut mematikan. Zat-zat inilah yang menyebabkan penyakit paru-paru, jantung, emphysema dan penyakit berbahaya lainnya.


Beberapa zat kandungan rokok lainnya dikenal mempunyai efek yang merugikan tulang dan kulit. Anda mungkin terkejut untuk menemukan nama beberapa bahan kimia dalam asap rokok. Beberapa di antaranya adalah sebagai berikut:
1. Sianida adalah senyawa kimia yang mengandung kelompok cyano.
2. Benzene juga dikenal sebagai bensol merupakan senyawa kimia organik yang mudah terbakar dan cairan tidak berwarna.
3. Cadmium sebuah logam yang sangat beracun dan radioaktif yang ditemukan baterai.
4. Metanol (alkohol kayu) adalah alkohol yang paling sederhana yang juga dikenal sebagai metil alkohol.
5. Asetilena (bahan bakar yang digunakan dalam obor las) merupakan senyawa kimia tak jenuh yang juga merupakan hidrokarbon alkuna yang paling sederhana.
6. Amonia ditemukan di mana-mana di lingkungan tetapi sangat beracun dalam kombinasi dengan unsur-unsur tertentu.
7. Formaldehida cairan yang sangat beracun yang digunakan untuk mengawetkan mayat.
8. Hidrogen sianida adalah racun yang digunakan sebagai fumigan untuk membunuh semut. Zat ini juga digunakan sebagai zat pembuat plastik dan pestisida.
9. Arsenik adalah bahan yang terdapat dalam racun tikus.


Sedangkan asap yang dihasilkan rokok mengandung tar. Tar itu sendiri mengandung banyak bahan beracun ke dalam tubuh. Ini adalah substansi, tebal lengket, dan ketika menghirup itu melekat pada rambut-rambut kecil di paru-paru. Organ ini melindungi paru-paru dari kotoran dan infeksi, tapi ketika tertutup tar organ ini  tidak dapat melakukan fungsinya. Tar juga melapisi dinding sistem respirasi secara keseluruhan, mempersempit tabung yang transportasi udara (yang bronchioles) dan mengurangi elastisitas paru-paru. Yang pada akhirnya menyebabkan kanker paru-paru dan penyakit pernafasan kronis.

Selain itu asap ini juga mengandung karbon monoksida. Karbon monoksida adalah bahan kimia beracun ditemukan dalam asap buangan mobil. Hal inilah yang kemudian bisa menurunkan jumlah oksigen dalam darah dan menghalangi semua kinerja organ pensuply oksigen di dalam tubuh. Karena tubuh kurang oksigen membuat jantung mengalami penebalan dan bekerja lebih keras memompa darah. Inilah penyebab utama seorang perokok bisa mengalami serangan jantung secara mendadak.

Tips to prolong atomizer lifespan (2-3 months):
 
1.  No chain vaping till the atomizer get very hot and burn the heating coil.
 
2. Give it some rest in between vapes
 
3. Do not vape or press the switch when the atomizer are dry or the tank is empty
 
4. Always keep the atomizer wet to prevent burn taste.
 
5. Always clean you atomizer regularly once a week.
 
6. Handle with care, dont drop or use any force.

Jenis2  E-rokok yang banyak dipasarkan di Malaysia

Terdapat banyak jenis dan jenama rokok elektronik yang dipasarkan di Malaysia. Ianya disasarkan kepada 3 jenis perokok iaitu perokok biasa, sederhana dan juga heavy smoker (tegar). Kepada perokok tegar (heavy smoker) mereka akan mendapatkan rokok elektronik yang berkeupayaan tinggi dan tahan lama.
 

Untuk pengetahuan anda, komen saya dibawah ini adalah berdasarkan pengalaman saya sendiri.


A) E-health
 


Komen:

1. Bateri sangat kecil - kurang dari 1jam penggunaan. Kena kerap mengecas.
2. Katrij boleh memuatkan sedikit liquid. 20 puff je dah asap kurang.
3. Selalu terminum e-liquid sebab sentiasa leaking.
4. Harga mahal jugak jika dibandingkan dengan kualiti.
 
5. Asap sedikit sangat kerana atomizer yg kurang power.

Kesimpulan: Buang duit je beli. Gerenti tak puas hati.

B) Joye 510


1. Bateri 180-280mah. Penggunaan setakat 2 jam takde masalah. kalau keluar mengeteh dengan kawan-kawan masih boleh tahan. Tak perlu selalu cas.
2. Katrij jenis tank 1.1ml boleh hisap 150-200 puff. Bagus
3. Tiada leaking, design tank bagus.
4. Asap memang best berkepol-kepol
5. harga berpatutan dengan kualiti

Kesimpulan: Bagus untuk kasual smoker. Digalakkan membeli. Cari yang bateri yang berkuasa 280 mah, baru  puas sikit.

C) Ego-T, EGO, VGO, KGO, T-Rex dll



1. Bateri berkuasa dari 650-1300mah. Tak payah ceritalah setakat 8-10 jam smoking terus tanpa berhenti pon boleh. Biasa smoker 2 hari tahan. Jarang-jarang 2-3 hari sekali. Bateri boleh off/on dengan 5x clik. Bateri elektronik chip untuk mengelakkan overcharged.
2. Katrij boleh puff dalan 200-300 puff. Menjimatkan
3. Tiada leaking, steady tank design. Boleh refil guna semula.
4. Asap memang best berkepol-kepol puas hati.
5. Harga berpatutan untuk heavy smoker.

Kesimpulan: Untuk perokok tegar adalah digalakkan. Bateri memang tahan lama.

Kelebihan kepala (saiz) bateri untuk joye 510 dan Ego/Ego-T sama bersaiz 510. Terdapat banyak eksesori untuk saiz 510 seperti clearomizer, kartomizer. Yang best atomizer boleh tukar2 dan senang nak cari spare part. Di Malaysia saiz 510 paling top markotop hehehe...

Nasihat saya lebih baik beli e-liquid yang dibotolkan terus dari kilang kerana proses pembotolan lebih hygenik(bersih) dan berkualiti. Ada juga penjual yang membotolkan sendiri. Mungkin harga lebih murah dari biasa. Jadi anda tentukan sendiri yang terbaik untuk anda.

Why is Propylene Glycol Used in Electronic Cigarettes? Additional Infos

One of the aspects of electronic cigarettes that make them attractive for prior users of traditional tobacco is the similar look and feel that e-cigs have to regular smokes. A problem arises, however, when just vaporizing nicotine, water, and the flavoring ingredients– there is no smoke produced. As a result, propylene glycol (or PG for short) is added to the e liquid mixture in order to produce an colorless vapor when smoking an e-cig. This helps better mimic the action of smoking without producing the dangerous second hand smoke produced by regular tobacco cigarettes.

Other Products that Use Propylene Glycol

Other products that make use of Propylene Glycol include cosmetic products, food coloring, cake mixes, sodas, salad dressings, and toiletries. PG is also used as an active ingredient in fog machines used in industry, nightclubs, and theaters.

What Are the Known Side Effects of Propylene Glycol?

Some of the side effects experienced by people that use Propylene Glycol are muscle pain, sore throat, and a stronger smelling urine. These symptoms can all result from using e-cigs that have  Propylene Glycol-based e liquid in their cartridge. Since PG is considered a humectant (it collects moisture), your throat can become dry after use and potentially sore. It can also result in an increase of lactic acid production by your body causing muscle aches that occur more often than normal. In order to counter-act these symptoms, it is recommended that you increase your fluid intake in order to flush the lactic acid from your body more quickly. This will also help with alleviating your sore throat more quickly which normally disappears after a few days. If you find yourself beginning to suffer from bowel movements, a rash, or having night sweats you may be allergic to propylene glycol. If this occurs, you will need to seek out an electronic cigarette solution that is vegetable glycerine (VG) based instead.

What to Do if You Are Allergic to Propylene Glycol?

If you are allergic to Propylene Glycol it does not mean that you have to give up on electronic cigarettes. Many e-cig manufacturers produce products that either use VG or have it available as an alternative to Propylene Glycol. VG also produces an ordor-less vapor though it is considered to be a bit thicker and sweeter than PG. Vegetable glycerine is also known as Glycerin, Glycerine, VG, or Glycerol. United States Pharmacopeia and British Pharmacopoeia produce “food safe” versions of propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine.

The regular cartomizer uses Propylene Glycol (PG) as the vapor producing agent. The VG carts contain Vegetable Glycerin as the vapor producing agent. Some people are sensitive or allergic to PG, so now we also offer VG.

Propylene Glycol and/or Vegetable Glycerin are the most commonly used vapor-producing agents found in e-liquid.


Propylene Glycol (PG)

 

 

Propylene Glycol (PG) is the vapor producing agent in the majority of e-cigarette juice. PG is a colorless, nearly odorless, clear liquid with a faintly sweet taste. PG is also an ingredient in numerous pharmaceuticals. If you take a gel-capsule style pill, you are ingesting propylene glycol.

Nobacco (e-liquid) made with PG tends to be more flavorful and have a more noticeable throat hit. Propylene glycol is a solvent commonly used in food coloring and flavoring. It has excellent properties for helping flavors “pop”.


Vegetable Glycerin (VG)

 

Much like PG, Vegetable Glycerin (VG) is also used as a food additive and in many pharmaceuticals. VG is also used as a sugar substitute, due to it’s naturally sweet flavor.

E-liquid made with Vegetable Glycerin is often reported as having a slightly different (some say sweeter) flavor than liquid  made with Propylene Glycol. VG users also indicate that they VG liquid and cartomizers produce more vapor than PG. It’s also been reported that VG does not give as distinct of a throat hit as PG liquid.

Why Offer Both?

A small percentage of the population is sensitive/allergic to Propylene Glycol, with juice made from Vegetable Glycerin so that PG Sensitive vapors still have the option to vape.
